“The Breakfast Proposal” at The Mast Farm Inn
What a lovely time we had at The Mast Farm Inn this past weekend! We got to be "undercover photographers" for a beautiful “breakfast proposal”. The day could not have been more perfect.
“Numerous scientific studies (too numerous to mention) conducted by major ivy-league universities, as well as other highly respected scientific research institutions, have demonstrated that 99.99% of marriage proposals made during Breakfast at The Mast Farm Inn result in a resounding YES, and one mighty fine day.”
So we walk in, giddy as a clam (is that a phrase? wait, no it’s “happy as a clam” but you know what I mean)… we are seated in a cozy dining area at a table right across from where the couple will be seated. We got situated, figured out our little plan, got our cameras ready and hidden away behind us. All set. So the couple walks in to be seated as we are sitting there enjoying our breakfast… we’re trying to act like it’s just any other day.
We hear the sound of the fork falling to the floor….. (our cue) and we reach for our cameras and the rest is history. Good news, she said “YES!” It was one of the sweetest moments we’ve ever had the privilege to witness.
