Featured Wedding Pro: Andi Gelsthorpe with Miss Match Rentals

“Miss Match Rentals began as an idea that I had for my own wedding day back in 2009. When I was in college in the 90’s, I would stock my kitchen full of mismatched dinnerware not only out of necessity but also as a style statement. When Rob and I were planning our wedding, I thought it would be perfect for our guests. We started with an eye for stoneware and began to collect. In 2011, we had collected enough stoneware and mid-century ware for 150 full place settings. That was the beginning.”

“We introduced our Fine China collection in 2012 and our Cottage White collection in 2013. We were also fortunate enough to move into our warehouse in 2013-which has been an amazing space for us. This is where I meet and interact with couples. I simply love to set the table with engaged couples. We pull out everything that they would like for their guests and can set a table for 6 right there in the warehouse. This helps them visualize the settings, discuss options, and create a style together.”

From the casual stoneware set to the funky mid-century collection to the fine china plates to the muted cottage white—- we mix and match our way to the perfect concept that represented them the best. It is really a hands on experience. I am honored that Miss Match Rentals is able to play a small role in their celebration, but a very important one. To share a meal with your wedding guests is such a blessing. We are happy to be at the table during these celebrations!”
