“Our elopement was to be purely a matter of practicality. Mark and I had lived together for a number of years and our life together over those years has become very busy and event-filled - especially now that our children have gotten married and had children of their own! Somehow, our own wedding plans were always put on the back burner. It seemed like elopement would be a practical way of settling some health and retirement issues, and also avoid the social strain of a big Polish wedding! We never dreamed a simple elopement could be so lovely, romantic and poignant.”
“Each detail of our day was perfect: the setting (the majestic mountains and the Mast Farm Inn, nestled so cozily and welcoming in the valley), the incredible flowers (roses are beautiful and strong and a perfect representation of our love – and they look gorgeous against the snow!), the ceremony (very simple words conveying such a strong and powerful commitment to support and love one another throughout the joys and challenges of life).”
“One detail I was concerned about was the weather – it was so cold! But Heather assured me that the snow would be pretty – and she was right! I think the snow flurries make it look like a fairy tale, or like we were standing in a little shake-up globe from the turn of the century!”
